Now What?

Now that Old School Evil: The Rejects is on sale (you can pick up the book on Kindle and paperback editions here), what’s next on my agenda? I figure I deserve a break after the mad dash this month to get the book out there, so December is going to be about taking a bit of a break, at least from Old School Evil.

First off, I want to get a few articles done for the Retro Network. I have a post planned about Dan Gilvezan’s leadership roles and the first of a two-part series about Unicron showing up to different 80s cartoon planets. They might not both go online this month, but I hope to get them written at least.

Second, I do have to work on the Old School Evil site a bit. I need to get a newsletter started. I’ve been avoiding it for so long, but that needs to change. I’m planning to send a free PDF to everyone who signs up that includes some behind-the-scenes information about Old School Evil. My favorite part is that Nicky AKA Big Shot will be on the cover with art by @wackartwork.

Besides that, I’d like to do some reading. Tommy and the Order of Cosmic Champions by Anthony Grate and Anthony Rapino is first on my list. I was given an advanced copy of the book but couldn’t get to it until now, so I picked up a hardcover and have been enjoying it so far. After that is Movie Making Nerd, James Rolfe’s autobiography. I’ve been a huge fan of his since the beginning of the Angry Video Game Nerd, back when it was just Angry Nintendo Nerd. I can’t wait to get into that.

Once the new year starts, I plan on dumping all my free time into Old School Evil 3. I’ve worked on the plot a lot lately and I think I’ve got a good chance to finish the first draft in January. I’m very loosely aiming for a release late next year, but I’m determined to keep it from taking as long as this one took.

Pick up a copy of Old School Evil: The Rejects, available now on paperback, Kindle, and Kindle Unlimited here.
